Preventing Electoral Violence in the Countries of the Southern African Development Community (PEV-SADC)

Preventing Electoral Violence in the Countries of the Southern African Development Community (PEV-SADC) project . The project will be conducted in the SADC countries targeting civil society organisations over a period of two years. The overall objective is to prevent electoral violence in the Southern African Countries, through support to SADC-Electoral Support Network. These objectives are achieved through capacity building and the establishment of an Observatory on Electoral Violence in the SADC. The project is implemented by a consortium led by the European Centre for Electoral Support (ECES) in partnership with Electoral Institute for Sustainable Democracy in Africa (EISA) and the Southern African Development Community Election Support Network (SADC-ESN). The project is funded by the European Union. http://pev-sadc.eu. Zambia is benfeciary of this project throungh the Foundation For Democratic Process (FODEP) and Zambia National Womens Lobby Group (ZNWL)
